About this tool
Reorder PDF Pages rearranges the pages in the order you choose and saves that order in the downloaded PDF.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF and wait for the page list to appear.
- Use the thumbnails to identify the pages.
- Drag pages or use Move up and Move down to change their positions.
- Review the final order, then generate and download the new PDF.
Features
- Page cards show their original page numbers so you can identify where each page came from.
- Move up and Move down work on phones and with a keyboard, without dragging.
- Thumbnails load as needed. Longer documents may take more time.
- The downloaded PDF contains the pages in the new order, not just a rearranged preview.
Working with longer documents
- For documents over 200 pages, watch for the performance notice. Move pages in steps and wait for thumbnails to update.
- Each page is included once. Use the corresponding tools to remove or duplicate pages.
Limits
- Files over 50 MiB display a memory notice. Each PDF can be up to 200 MiB. Complex content also uses memory, so choose files that suit your device.
- Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are not supported. Use an unencrypted copy you are authorized to access. Damaged or unsupported files may not open.
- Editing a digitally signed PDF may invalidate its signature. Keep the original file.
- Bookmarks, interactive forms, annotations, and other complex features may not be fully preserved. Open the download and check its pages and important content.
Privacy
Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.
Images, text, and generated results are also processed only in your current browser. Your input is not saved automatically. Download any results you want to keep before clearing or leaving the page, and keep your original files.
FAQ
How can I reorder pages on my phone?
Use the Move up and Move down buttons on each page. You do not need to drag.
Will the downloaded PDF use the new order?
Yes. The new order is saved in the PDF. Open the download to review it.
What do the numbers on the thumbnails mean?
They are the page numbers from the original file, helping you identify each page.
Why do thumbnails take longer for large documents?
Previews require pages to be read and rendered. More pages or complex content use more time and memory.
