About this tool
Rotate PDF Pages changes page orientation to correct scanned pages or organize documents with mixed orientations. The rotation is saved in the download.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF.
- Choose all pages or enter a specific page range.
- Select a clockwise rotation of 90°, 180°, or 270°.
- Generate the PDF, download it, and check the page orientation.
Features
- Adds the rotation to each page's existing angle instead of replacing it.
- For example, rotating a page that is already at 90° by another 90° produces a final angle of 180°.
- Use odd or even to select odd-numbered or even-numbered pages.
Page range format
- Pages start at 1. Enter 1, 1,3,5, 1-5, or 1-3,7,10-12. Use all for every page, odd for odd-numbered pages, and even for even-numbered pages.
- Zero, out-of-bounds pages, reversed ranges such as 5-2, letters, and empty entries such as 1,,3 are invalid. Both endpoints of a range are included.
- Extracting, deleting, and rotating ignore duplicate page numbers. Duplicating keeps repeated page numbers and builds the copied block in the order entered.
Orientation and page size
- Rotating 90° or 270° swaps the displayed width and height. Rotating 180° turns the page upside down.
- Page content is not redrawn as an image. The downloaded PDF stores the new page orientation.
Limits
- Files over 50 MiB display a memory notice. Each PDF can be up to 200 MiB. Complex content also uses memory, so choose files that suit your device.
- Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are not supported. Use an unencrypted copy you are authorized to access. Damaged or unsupported files may not open.
- Editing a digitally signed PDF may invalidate its signature. Keep the original file.
- Bookmarks, interactive forms, annotations, and other complex features may not be fully preserved. Open the download and check its pages and important content.
Privacy
Your PDF is processed entirely in your browser and is never uploaded to a server.
Images, text, and generated results are also processed only in your current browser. Your input is not saved automatically. Download any results you want to keep before clearing or leaving the page, and keep your original files.
FAQ
Does this change the downloaded PDF?
Yes. Rotation is saved in the new PDF, rather than only changing the preview on this page.
What is the difference between 90° and 270°?
Both are clockwise angles. A 90° rotation is a quarter turn to the right; 270° is equivalent to a quarter turn to the left.
Can I rotate only certain pages?
Yes. Enter individual pages or ranges, such as 1,3-5, or choose all, odd, or even pages.
Does rotation change page dimensions?
Rotating 90° or 270° usually swaps the displayed width and height. The page content is not stretched.
