About this tool
Duplicate PDF Pages keeps the original document's pages and inserts extra copies. Multiple selected pages form a block in the order you enter, and the whole block is repeated.
How to use it
- Choose a PDF.
- Enter the pages or ranges to duplicate.
- Set the number of extra copies and check the output page count.
- Generate and download the new PDF, then check where the copies appear.
Features
- Two extra copies means two copies in addition to the original page or block.
- For an original document of 1, 2, 3, choosing page 2 with two extra copies produces 1, 2, 2, 2, 3.
- Choosing 2-4 with one extra copy inserts copies of 2, 3, 4 after original page 4.
- Nonconsecutive pages also form one block, inserted after the highest original page number selected. Repeated page numbers are kept.
Page range format
- Pages start at 1. Enter 1, 1,3,5, 1-5, or 1-3,7,10-12. Use all for every page, odd for odd-numbered pages, and even for even-numbered pages.
- Zero, out-of-bounds pages, reversed ranges such as 5-2, letters, and empty entries such as 1,,3 are invalid. Both endpoints of a range are included.
- Extracting, deleting, and rotating ignore duplicate page numbers. Duplicating keeps repeated page numbers and builds the copied block in the order entered.
Copy order and count
- For example, selecting 3,1 creates copies in the order 3, 1 and inserts them after original page 3. Original pages keep their order.
- Many copies increase file size and memory use. The output can contain up to 2,000 pages.
Limits
- Files over 50 MiB display a memory notice. Each PDF can be up to 200 MiB. Complex content also uses memory, so choose files that suit your device.
- Password-protected and encrypted PDFs are not supported. Use an unencrypted copy you are authorized to access. Damaged or unsupported files may not open.
- Editing a digitally signed PDF may invalidate its signature. Keep the original file.
- Bookmarks, interactive forms, annotations, and other complex features may not be fully preserved. Open the download and check its pages and important content.
